Civil Rights

Unfortunately, many people suffer harm at the hands of public officials. Though we wish it weren't true, there are police officers who will beat a person to the ground and then claim he was "resisting arrest," or who will fabricate evidence to get an arrest warrant. There are jail employees who will delegate discipline to the inmates or give benefits to favored prisoners for abusing disfavored ones. There are prosecutors and city councilmembers who will refuse to let the public know the true reasons behind their decisions. The only way to get justice is to bring the fight to them.

We use the Civil Rights Act, Freedom of Information Act, Colorado Open Records Act, and Colorado Criminal Justice Records Act, among others, to bring government misconduct into the light. With your case, we will do everything within our power to both get you the compensation you deserve and to change the practices that led to your unfair treatment.
